Smartis participated in Atlassian Team ’26 in Anaheim, one of the world’s leading conferences dedicated to the Atlassian ecosystem, enterprise collaboration, cloud transformation, and AI-powered productivity solutions.

The event brought together Atlassian experts, global technology partners, developers, architects, and enterprise organizations to discuss the future of teamwork, automation, software delivery, and digital transformation. Across multiple days of keynotes, product sessions, and partner showcases, the conference highlighted how rapidly AI is reshaping enterprise collaboration and operational efficiency.

AI Becoming a Core Part of Enterprise Workflows

One of the strongest themes throughout the conference was the growing integration of artificial intelligence into everyday enterprise processes. Discussions with partners such as Tempo Software, Appfire, and Xray showcased how AI is increasingly being used to improve resource planning, portfolio visibility, testing processes, and operational decision-making.

At the Tempo Software booth, conversations focused on advanced Timesheets and resource planning capabilities for complex matrix organizations, along with best practices for managing large-scale Jira environments.

Appfire demonstrated upcoming AI-powered functionalities within Big Picture, including advanced planning and resource management capabilities designed to support enterprise portfolio management and improve operational visibility.

Xray also presented new AI-driven testing functionalities capable of summarizing test cases and significantly reducing manual testing effort, reflecting the rapid evolution of AI within software quality assurance and DevOps processes.

Cloud Migration and Modernization Remain a Major Focus

Cloud transformation and migration readiness were also central topics throughout the event. Adaptavist showcased a practical web-based solution capable of analyzing existing Data Center scripts and predicting how they would behave in Atlassian Cloud environments. Solutions like these help organizations significantly reduce migration complexity and improve planning for enterprise cloud adoption initiatives.

Ricksoft presented Space Sync for Confluence, designed to simplify synchronization between Data Center and Cloud environments during migration projects, while Refined and Deviniti demonstrated modern approaches to improving user experience through customized portals, structured content, and advanced service management functionalities.

Together, these solutions highlighted how organizations continue investing not only in migration itself, but also in improving usability, governance, and operational efficiency across collaboration platforms.

Advanced Reporting, Analytics, and Microsoft 365 Integrations

Among the standout discussions at the conference was the meeting with eazyBI, whose latest roadmap introduced several significant improvements for Jira reporting and enterprise analytics.

New functionalities included enhanced Jira import capabilities, additional integrations with Microsoft 365 Excel, YouTrack, and QMetry Test Management, as well as upcoming CLI support designed to improve automation and reporting workflows.

Particular attention was given to eazyBI’s continued investment in Data Center customers and hybrid enterprise environments, an increasingly important topic for organizations balancing cloud transformation with existing on-premise infrastructure.

Additional discussions with yasoon focused on deep Microsoft 365 and Jira integrations, demonstrating how organizations can streamline collaboration between Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Jira while automating communication, reporting, and stakeholder updates directly within existing workflows.

Strengthening the Atlassian Ecosystem

Atlassian Team ’26 once again demonstrated that the strength of the ecosystem extends far beyond the platform itself. The event highlighted the importance of the global partner network continuously building innovative solutions around collaboration, automation, analytics, AI, testing, and enterprise transformation.

For Smartis, the conference provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and explore new approaches for helping organizations modernize collaboration environments, improve delivery efficiency, and accelerate digital transformation initiatives.

As part of the growing Atlassian ecosystem, Smartis and Celeris continue focusing on AI-powered solutions for requirements management, testing, enterprise collaboration, and modern engineering practices across complex enterprise environments.
